The Heads sono un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a New York negli anni '80. Il nucleo del gruppo è costituito da membri dei Talking Heads: Chris Frantz alla batteria, Jerry Harrison al basso e Tina Weymouth al basso. Dopo la disgregazione dei Talking Heads, i tre musicisti hanno deciso di esplorare nuovi territori musicali con un sound più rock e meno sperimentale. Il loro primo album, "Under the Stress of a Headlong Dive", è uscito nel 1985 ed è stato seguito da altri successi come "No Talking Just Head" (1986) e "At Last" (1987). Il gruppo ha collaborato con diversi artisti, tra cui David Byrne, il frontman dei Talking Heads.
