Joel Plaskett è un musicista canadese di genere rock, nato il 18 aprile 1975 a Lunenburg, Nuova Scozia. Cresciuto ad Halifax, ora risiede a Dartmouth, sempre in Nuova Scozia. È una figura di spicco nella scena indie rock canadese degli anni '90 e 2000.
