Jim Reeves (1930-1964) è stato un cantante e musicista statunitense, considerato uno dei pionieri del genere country pop. Nato a Carthage, nel Texas, Reeves ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '50, cantando in locali di Houston. Nel 1955 ha firmato con la RCA Victor Records e ha subito riscosso successo con il brano "He'll Have to Go". Reeves è stato un artista popolare sia negli Stati Uniti che all'estero, vendendo milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo.
