The Kills sono una band indie rock formatasi a Londra nel 2001, composta dalla cantante americana Alison Mosshart e dal chitarrista britannico Jamie Hince. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da un mix di blues, garage rock e punk, con influenze post-punk e darkwave. La coppia ha collaborato in precedenza in altri progetti musicali prima di formare The Kills. Il loro debutto discografico, *Keep On Your Mean Side*, risale al 2003.
