Kirlian Camera è un gruppo musicale italiano di musica elettronica coldwave/darkwave fondato nel 1980 da Angelo Bergamini. Bergamini, sperimentatore e pioniere della scena synthpop italiana, ha guidato la band attraverso diverse fasi stilistiche, dal synthpop all'italodisco, dall'EBM alla dark ambient, con incursioni occasionali nel neofolk. Inizialmente il loro approccio pop li portò ad essere il primo gruppo italiano ad ottenere un contratto con la Virgin Dischi. Successivamente, però, la musica dei Kirlian Camera si fece sempre più oscura e sperimentale, oscillando tra un approccio meditativo/isolazionista e pulsioni erotizzanti. Tra i brani rappresentativi: "The Last Day", "Love is a Drug", "Black Sun", "A New Dawn". L'album di debutto "Kirlian Camera" (1983) segnò l'inizio della loro carriera, mentre "The Dark Side of the Moon" (1986) rappresentò un punto di svolta verso sonorità più dark.
