Julian Lennon (geboren als John Charles Julian Lennon am 11. April 1963) ist ein britischer Sänger-Songwriter, Multiinstrumentalist, Fotograf und Philanthrop. Als Sohn des legendären Musikers John Lennon und Cynthia Powell erbte Julian die musikalische Leidenschaft seines Vaters, verfolgte aber eine unabhängige künstlerische Karriere, fern vom Schatten seines berühmten Vaters. Nach dem Release seines Debütalbums "Valotte" im Jahr 1984, das mit Singles wie "Too Late for Goodbyes" und "Just Like Heaven" internationalen Erfolg feierte, setzte Julian seine musikalische Arbeit in verschiedenen Genres fort, von Pop bis hin zu Alternative Rock. Im Laufe seiner Karriere arbeitete er mit bekannten Künstlern wie Paul McCartney und Elton John zusammen. Neben der Musik ist Julian ein leidenschaftlicher Fotograf und Philanthrop, der Zeit und Ressourcen für humanitäre Zwecke durch seine Organisation "The White Dove Foundation" einsetzt. Zu seinen bekanntesten Alben zählen "Mr. Moon" (1986) und "Help Yourself" (1992).
