Sarah Bettens è una cantautrice e musicista belga, nata nel 1971. Trascorse l'infanzia a Beringen, in Belgio, dove iniziò a suonare la chitarra all'età di dieci anni. Nel 1990 formò il gruppo musicale The Neon Judgement, con cui ottenne un discreto successo nei Paesi Bassi e in Europa. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo nel 1998, Bettens intraprese una carriera solista, pubblicando album come "The World Is My Playground" (2000) e "My Name Is Sarah" (2003). Nel corso della sua carriera, ha esplorato diversi generi musicali, dal rock alternativo al pop elettronico. Nel 2015, Bettens ha rivelato pubblicamente di essere transgender, diventando un'icona per la comunità LGBTQ+. Continua a scrivere e registrare musica, collaborando con artisti come The Gathering e Anouk.
