Faun è un gruppo musicale tedesco di folk pagano/darkwave formatosi nel 2002. La loro originalità risiede nell'utilizzo di strumenti antichi e nella centralità del canto, eseguito in diverse lingue tra cui tedesco, latino e scandinavo. Tra gli strumenti utilizzati figurano arpa celtica, nyckelharpa svedese, organetto, cornamuse, cetra, flauti e molti altri. Il gruppo ha raggiunto una certa popolarità internazionale grazie alla loro musica evocativa e al sound unico che fonde elementi folk tradizionali con atmosfere darkwave.
