Powerspace war eine fünfköpfige Power-Pop-Band aus Chicago, Illinois. Unter Vertrag bei Fueled by Ramen veröffentlichten sie ihr Debütalbum *The Kicks of Passion*, produziert von Marc McClusky, am 31. Juli 2007. Der Schlagzeuger Kevin Kane gab am 17. Februar 2010 die Auflösung der Band bekannt. Ihr Sound zeichnete sich durch eingängige Melodien und energiegeladene Riffs aus, beeinflusst vom Pop-Rock der 1980er Jahre. Zu ihren bekanntesten Songs gehören *The Kicks of Passion*, *She's Got It All* und *This Is My Life*.
