Dredg è una band americana di rock progressivo/alternativo formatasi nel 1993 a Los Gatos, California. Il gruppo è composto da Gavin Hayes (voce), Mark Engles (chitarra), Drew Roulette (basso) e Dino Campanella (batteria/tastiere). Hayes e Roulette, appassionati d'arte, hanno sempre integrato elementi artistici, in particolare la pittura, nei loro album e concerti. Dredg è nota per il suo sound complesso e sperimentale, che fonde influenze progressive rock, metal alternativo e post-rock. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Pariah", "Bug Eyes" e "Underneath the Waves".
