Ginny Owens è una cantautrice americana di musica cristiana contemporanea. Nata a Jackson, Mississippi, è cieca dall'età di due anni. Dopo essersi laureata al Belmont University con una laurea in Educazione musicale, ha scoperto che la maggior parte delle persone era scettica sull'assunzione di un insegnante di musica cieco. Invece si è concentrata nel canto e nella scrittura di canzoni, iniziando a produrre CD dal 1999 con Rocketown Records, un'etichetta sotto Michael W. Smith.
