Taking Back Sunday ist eine amerikanische Emo-Band, die 1999 in Amityville, New York, gegründet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus John Nolan (Gitarre), Eddie Reyes (Schlagzeug), Fred Mascherino (Gitarre) und Adam Lazzara (Gesang). Ihr Sound, geprägt von eingängigen Melodien, nachdenklichen Texten und intensiver Live-Energie, prägte den Emocore der 2000er Jahre.
