Blutengel ist eine deutsche Future-Pop-Band, die 1998 von Chris Pohl gegründet wurde. Pohl war zuvor in Terminal Choice, Tumor und Miss Construction aktiv. Er verließ die Band Seelenkrank aufgrund von Vertrags- und Rechtsproblemen. Blutengels Lieder sind sowohl auf Deutsch als auch Englisch geschrieben und werden von männlichen und weiblichen Stimmen interpretiert. Der Sound der Band ist eine Mischung aus Synthpop, Darkwave und Industrial mit elektronischen und Gothic-Einflüssen. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "Dein Herz", "Lucifer" und "Black Tears". Blutengel hat zahlreiche Alben veröffentlicht, darunter "Tears of the World" (2001), "Blood and Steel" (2003) und "The Devil's Playground" (2006).
