Biografia

Emery ist eine amerikanische Rockband, die 2001 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, gegründet wurde. Derzeit ansässig in Seattle, Washington, ist die Band für ihren emotionalen und post-hardcore Sound bekannt, der sich durch eingängige Melodien und nachdenkliche Texte auszeichnet. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Toby Morrell (Gesang), Devin Shelton (Gitarre), Matt Carter (Bass), Josh Head (Schlagzeug) und Joel Green (Keyboard). Nachdem die Band ihren Sitz nach Seattle verlegt hatte, um näher an der Musikszene zu sein, unterschrieb Emery bei Tooth and Nail Records. Ihr Debütalbum "The Weak's End" war ein kritischer und kommerzieller Erfolg und festigte ihre Position in der alternativen Rocklandschaft. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "The Way I Feel", "I Am The One" und "The Last Time". Emery hat mehrere Studioalben veröffentlicht, darunter "Mules and Dragons" (2004) und "Afterglow" (2006), und sich eine treue Fangemeinde auf der ganzen Welt aufgebaut.
