Nada Surf ist eine amerikanische Band aus dem Genre Alternative Rock/Indie Rock, die 1992 in New York gegründet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Matthew Caws (Gesang, Gitarre), Ira Elliott (Bass) und Daniel Lorca (Schlagzeug). Ihr Debütalbum *Let It Be*, veröffentlicht 1994, fand durch den Song *Popular* moderate Erfolge.
