Basshunter, der Künstlername von Jonas Erik Altberg, ist ein schwedischer Sänger, Musikproduzent und DJ, geboren 1984. Bekannt für seinen Musikstil, der Elemente des Eurodance, Electro House und Trance verbindet, erlangte er international Bekanntheit in den 2000er Jahren mit Hits wie "Now You're Gone", "Angel Eyes" und "Boten Anna". Altberg begann im Alter von 16 Jahren, elektronische Musik zu produzieren und veröffentlichte seine ersten Tracks online. 2006 unterzeichnete er einen Plattenvertrag mit Zooland Records und veröffentlichte sein Debütalbum "Basshunter Presents...
