just repetition same old songs about oppression.
Another band that will break up in a year
because no one in it really cared.
Just in it so they could say they tried
to their kids when they wonder why,
why they let the world get to the point that it is.

but still we stand on division letting fashion
taint our vision and thinking
that our clothes alone damage the system.

Why can't you find your own inspiration

Against Me! ist eine Punk-Rock-Band, die 1997 in Gainesville, Florida, gegründet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Laura Jane Grace (Gesang, Gitarre), Chris Conley (Gitarre), James Bowman (Bass) und Warren Oakes (Schlagzeug). Die Band veröffentlichte ihr Debütalbum *Reinventing Axl Rose* im Jahr 2002 auf dem Label No Idea Records. Nach der Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen unabhängigen Labels wie Misanthrope Records, Crasshole Records und Plan It X Records, unterschrieb Against Me! im Dezember 2005 bei Sire Records. Ihr Debütalbum für das Major-Label *New Wave* erschien am 10.
