Isobel Campbell ist eine schottische Singer-Songwriterin und Musikerin, geboren 1975 in Glasgow. Bekannt wurde sie zunächst als Mitglied der Band Belle and Sebastian von 1996 bis 2003. Sie arbeitete mit der Gruppe an Alben wie „If You're Feeling Sinister“ (1996) und anderen Erfolgen zusammen. Nach ihrem Ausstieg bei Belle and Sebastian startete Campbell eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere und veröffentlichte Alben wie „The Ballad of Isobel“ (2004), „The Nearness of You“ (2006) und „The White Horses“ (2013).
