Tiamat ist eine schwedische Heavy-Metal-Band, die 1988 in Stockholm gegründet wurde. Als Pioniere des Doom/Death-Metals haben sie im Laufe ihrer Karriere verschiedene Sounds erkundet, von Black Metal über Progressive bis hin zu Gothic Metal.
