Bowling for Soup ist eine Pop-Punk-Band aus Wichita Falls, Texas, die 1994 gegründet wurde. Der Bandname leitet sich von der Comedy-Routine von Steve Martin aus dem Jahr 1978 "Bowling for Shit" ab, was auf die oft humorvollen und leichten Themen ihrer Texte hinweist.
