Demoniac war eine neuseeländische Heavy-Metal-Band, die 1993 in Wellington von Lindsay Dawson (Gesang und Bass), Sam Totman (Gitarre) und Steve Francis (Schlagzeug) gegründet wurde. Drei Mitglieder der Band, darunter Totman, gründeten später DragonForce. Der einzigartige Musikstil von Demoniac wird oft als "blackened power metal" bezeichnet. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "The Serpent's Curse", "Bloodlust" und "Eternal Reign".
