Azure Ray è un duo dream pop americano formato dalle musiciste Maria Taylor e Orenda Fink. Le due si sono conosciute all'età di 15 anni alla Alabama School of Fine Arts. Nel tardo anni '90 hanno fatto parte del gruppo Little Red Rocket, spesso paragonato a Veruca Salt, esibendosi nella loro città natale di Birmingham, Alabama.
