Wolfchant ist eine deutsche Band, die sich im August 2003 in St. Oswald von Lokhi, Gaahnt, Skaahl und Norgahd gründete. Die Gruppe zeichnet sich durch ihre Musik aus, die Legenden und Geschichten der nordischen Mythologie erforscht. Im Jahr 2005 unterzeichneten sie einen Plattenvertrag mit CCP Records und erlangten mit ihrem Debütalbum "Bloody Tales of Disgraced Lands" (2005) nationale Anerkennung. Wolfchant ist bekannt für seinen kraftvollen und epischen Sound, der Elemente des Heavy Metal, Folk Metal und Pagan Metal verbindet. Die Texte, oft auf Englisch, sind von einer dunklen und mystischen Atmosphäre geprägt, die sich aus der nordischen Tradition speist. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "Blood of the North", "The Raven" und "Odin's Fury".
