The All-American Rejects sind eine amerikanische Pop-Rock-Band, die Ende der 1990er Jahre in Stillwater, Oklahoma, gegründet wurde. Ihre erste EP wurde 2000 unabhängig veröffentlicht, gefolgt von einer zweiten EP, *Same Girl, New Songs*, im Jahr 2001. Nach Tourneen mit der EP unterschrieb die Band bei Doghouse Records und ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum wurde 2002 veröffentlicht. Das Album erreichte Platz 25 der US Billboard Charts und hatte auch in Großbritannien einen respektablen Erfolg, wo es sich auf Platz 19 platzierte.
