Hellacopters sind eine schwedische Garage-Rock-Band, die 1994 in Stockholm gegründet wurde. Die Band, bestehend aus Nicke Andersson (Gesang, Gitarre), Dregen (Gitarre), Robert Eriksson (Bass) und Kenny Håkansson (Schlagzeug), erreichte in den 1990er und 2000er Jahren mit ihrem energiegeladenen Sound und unwiderstehlichen Gitar riffs internationalen Erfolg. Von Bands wie The Stooges, MC5 und Kiss beeinflusst, veröffentlichten Hellacopters sieben Studioalben, darunter "High Voltage Blues" (1997), "Payin' the Price" (2000) und "By the Grace of God". Ihr Musikstil zeichnet sich durch eine Mischung aus Hard Rock, Punk Rock und Glam Rock aus, mit oft ironischen und selbstironischen Texten. Nach einer Pause im Jahr 2008 haben sich die Musiker sporadisch für Live-Auftritte wiedervereint.
