The Forecast ist eine Indie-Rock-Band aus Peoria, Illinois. Ihr Sound zeichnet sich durch starke Zwei- und Dreistimmigkeit aus, die von verschiedenen Kombinationen ihrer Sänger interpretiert werden, wie man in Songs wie "Red as the Moon" und "One Hundred Percent" hören kann. Die Band wurde 2001 von Dustin Addis gegründet, dem einzigen verbliebenen Gründungsmitglied. Die aktuelle Besetzung des Bands kam im Sommer 2004 zusammen, als Shannon Burns und Matt Webb ihre alte Band Casting Lines verließen.
