English musician and producer Alan Parsons enjoyed a brief solo career, and fronted a group called the Alan Parsons Project. But he is still probably best known as the studio engineer on Pink Floyd's seminal prog-rock album The Dark Side Of The Moon. It was also hugely critically acclaimed and is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock albums ever.
