Bruno Mars ist ein amerikanischer Sänger, Songwriter und Tänzer, geboren als Peter Gene Hernandez in Honolulu, Hawaii, am 8. Oktober 1985. Er wuchs in einer Künstlerfamilie auf und begann schon als Kind zu performen, indem er mit seiner Familie in lokalen Clubs sang. Nachdem er als Songwriter für andere Künstler wie B.o.B und Travis McCoy erfolgreich war, debütierte er 2010 mit dem Album "Doo-Wops and Hooligans", das die Hits "Just the Way You Are" und "Grenade" enthielt. Sein Musikstil ist eine Mischung aus Pop, R and B, Funk und Soul, beeinflusst von der Musik der 1960er und 1970er Jahre. Mars ist bekannt für seine energiegeladenen Auftritte und sein Gesangstalent sowie für seine Fähigkeiten als Tänzer.
