Higetori Furà è un artista desiano che muove il proprio linguaggio in un territorio crossover, dove rap, melodia e alt-rock convivono in modo naturale, dando forma a brani attraversati da domande sul presente, crescita e senso di disorientamento. Il progetto nasce nel 2019, dopo una notte insonne in Spagna, quando una fase di riflessione personale si trasforma nel primo tentativo di mettere in parole pensieri e vissuti. Quello che all'inizio prende forma come scrittura poetica si orienta presto verso il rap e il nu metal, mantenendo però una marcata attenzione alla linea vocale e alla dimensione emotiva del brano. Nel suo percorso di ascolto convivono riferimenti diversi, dai Linkin Park ai Kasabian, da Santana a Bob Marley, passando per Stromae, la musica elettronica, il Boléro di Ravel e, successivamente, per artisti come Juice WRLD, Lil Peep, Rod Wave, XXXTentacion, Kanye West ed Eminem, che hanno contribuito a delinearne l'approccio compositivo. Lo pseudonimo Higetori Furà, ispirato agli studi di lingua giapponese, nasce da una libera traduzione del cognome dell'artista in chiave ironica e curiosa, e richiama anche l'immaginario di Akira Toriyama, autore di Dragon Ball: un segno di leggerezza consapevole dentro un percorso che affronta temi complessi senza irrigidirsi mai in una sola forma.
