Kris Delmhorst ist eine amerikanische Singer-Songwriterin, die tief in der Folk-Szene von Boston verwurzelt ist. 1998 beteiligte sie sich an der Produktion des Benefizalbums *Respond*, das Gruppen unterstützt, die gegen häusliche Gewalt kämpfen, und enthielt ihren Song *Weatherman*. 1999 veröffentlichte sie ein Live-Album mit The Vinal Avenue String Band, bestehend aus ihr selbst, Sean Staples und Ry Cavanaugh.
