Lifehouse ist eine amerikanische Alternative-Rock-Band aus Los Angeles. Die Gruppe erlangte 2001 mit dem Hit "Hanging by a Moment", der auf ihrem Debütalbum *No Name Face* erschien, Bekanntheit. Der Song gewann einen Billboard Music Award als Hot 100 Single of the Year und besiegte Janet Jackson und Alicia Keys für den Titel des Nummer-eins-Hits von 2001. 2002 veröffentlichten sie ihr zweites Album, *Stanley Climbfall*.
