I wanna thank U for givin' me
Time to breath
Like a rock
U waited so patiently
While I got it together
While I figured out
I only looked but I never touched
Cause in my heart
Was a picture of us
Holdin' hand
Makin' plan
& it's lucky for me
U understand
What a girl needs, what a girl wants
Whatever makes U happy makes me strong
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
What a girl need, what a girl wants
Whatever keeps me in your arms
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
A weaker man might have walked away
But U had faith
Strong enough to move over
And give me space
While I got it together
While I figured it out
They say if U love someone
Let it go, if it comes back it's yours
That's how U know
It's for keeps yeah
It's for sure
& U're ready & willin
To give me more than
What a girl needs, what a girl wants
Whatever makes U happy makes me strong
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
What a girl need, what a girl wants
Whatever keeps me in your arms
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
A girl needs somebody sensitive but tough
Somebody there when the going gets rough
Every night he'll be keepin' it up
For just one woman
Somebody cool but tender too
Somebody baby just like U
Keep me hangin' around
With the one who always knew
What a girl needs, what a girl wants
Whatever makes U happy makes me strong
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
What a girl need, what a girl wants
Whatever keeps me in your arms
And I'm thankin' U for givin' it to me
