Roy Kelton Orbison (Texarkana, 23. April 1936 – Hendersonville, 6. Dezember 1988) war ein amerikanischer Sänger-Songwriter und Gitarrist, der als einer der größten Rock-'n'-Roll-Künstler gilt. Orbison war für seine kraftvolle und dramatische Stimme bekannt, die oft von aufwendigen orchestralen Arrangements begleitet wurde.
