Marlene Kuntz è un gruppo musicale italiano formatosi a Cuneo nel 1987. Il nome del gruppo è un accostamento tra il nome dell'attrice Marlene Dietrich e la parola inglese "cunt", termine volgare che in Italia non ha lo stesso impatto sociale. La band, inizialmente influenzata dal noise rock dei Sonic Youth, si è poi evoluta verso un sound più variegato, mescolando elementi di post-punk, alternative rock e progressive. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "La fine del mondo", "Il cielo in una stanza" e "L'amore non esiste". Tra gli album di maggior successo ricordiamo "Marlene Kuntz" (1990), "Sotto il sole nero" (1993) e "Le cose che non si possono dire" (2004). La band ha collaborato con diversi artisti italiani, tra cui Vinicio Capossela e Carmen Consoli.
