Icehouse ist eine australische Rockband, die 1977 in Sydney als Flowers gegründet wurde. Anfangs bekannt in Australien für ihren Pub-Rock-Stil, erreichten sie später den Mainstream-Erfolg mit New-Wave- und Synthpop-Musik und erzielten Top-Ten-Singles-Chart-Erfolge sowohl in Europa als auch in den USA. Der Kern von beiden Gruppen, Flowers und Icehouse, war Iva Davies (Sänger-Songwriter, Produzent, Gitarre, Bass, Keyboard, Oboe), der je nach Bedarf zusätzliche Musiker einsetzte.
