Die ursprüngliche Besetzung von Blackstreet bestand aus Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Levi Little und Joseph Stonestreet. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung veröffentlichte 1993 ihre erste Single für den Soundtrack des Films CB4 mit Chris Rock unter dem Titel "Baby Be Mine", wobei Joseph Stonestreet als Lead-Sänger zu hören ist, produziert von Teddy Riley und geschrieben von Teddy Riley und Joseph Stonestreet.
