Laura Nyro (1947-1997), pseudonimo di Laura Nigro, fu una cantautrice, compositrice e pianista statunitense. Considerata una delle più grandi artiste del folk rock degli anni '60 e '70, la sua musica era caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e un'ampia gamma vocale. ???? Nascita a New York da genitori italo-americani, iniziò a comporre canzoni all'età di 15 anni.
