Mr. Mister è stato un gruppo musicale pop rock statunitense attivo tra la fine degli anni '70 e gli anni '90. Originario di Los Angeles, California, il gruppo ha preso il nome da un gioco inventato dai membri ispirandosi all'album dei Weather Report *Mr. Gone*. Il sound di Mr. Mister è caratterizzato da melodie sofisticate e arrangiamenti orchestrali che hanno contribuito a definire l'estetica pop rock degli anni '80. Il gruppo era composto da Richard Page (voce, basso), Steve George (tastiere), Pat Mastelotto (batteria acustica ed elettronica) e Steve Farris (chitarra). Tra i loro successi più noti figurano *Broken Wings*, *Kyrie* e *Welcome to the World*. L'album di debutto *Mr. Mister* (1983) ha ottenuto un discreto successo, ma è stato il secondo album, *Second Time Around* (1985), a consacrare la band al grande pubblico con l'hit planetaria *Broken Wings*.
