Divinyls sono una rock band australiana formatasi a Sydney nel 1980. Il gruppo è composto da Christina Amphlett (voce) e Mark McEntee (chitarra). Amphlett, punto focale del gruppo, si esibiva indossando un uniforme scolastica e collant in rete, usando spesso una tubo al neon come accessorio e mostrando aggressività verso i membri della band e il pubblico.
