The Audition sind eine Pop/Rock-Band aus Chicago, Illinois. Die Band besteht aus dem Schlagzeuger Ryan O'Connor und den Gitarristen Seth Johnson und Timmy Klepek, die beide aus Chicago stammen, sowie dem Leadsänger Danny Stevens aus Detroit, Michigan. Ihre erste Veröffentlichung war ein sechssängiges EP namens *All In Your Head*. Anfang 2005 unterschrieben sie bei Victory Records und veröffentlichten ihr Debütalbum mit dem Titel *Controversy Loves Company*. Anfang Januar 2008 brachten sie ihr zweites Studioalbum *Champion* heraus. Am 28. April 2009 erschien ihr drittes Studioalbum *Self-Titled Album*. Ihr letztes Album *Great Danger* wurde am 16. März 2010 veröffentlicht. Die erste Single aus dem neuen Album, mit dem Titel "You Ruined This", ist bereits verfügbar.
