Tangerine Dream è un gruppo musicale tedesco fondato nel 1967 da Edgar Froese, considerato uno dei pionieri del krautrock e della musica elettronica. Con una discografia vasta e variegata, la band ha esplorato diverse sonorità all'interno del genere elettronico, passando dal progressive rock al synth-pop, influenzando generazioni di musicisti. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Logos", "Force Majeure" e "Cloudbusting". La loro musica è stata spesso utilizzata in colonne sonore per film come "Risky Business" e "Thief", contribuendo a diffondere la fama del gruppo anche al di fuori dell'ambito musicale. Edgar Froese, figura centrale del gruppo fino alla sua scomparsa nel 2015, ha guidato Tangerine Dream attraverso diverse fasi evolutive, mantenendo sempre un approccio innovativo e sperimentale.
