Dinosaur Jr. è un gruppo rock alternativo statunitense formatosi a Amherst, Massachusetts, nel 1984. Considerati uno dei pilastri del movimento alternative rock degli anni '80, insieme a band come Sonic Youth, Husker Du e Pixies, hanno influenzato profondamente il panorama musicale successivo, anticipando l'esplosione di successo di Nirvana e la diffusione dell'alternative rock nel mainstream.
