Renato Russo (1960-1996), pseudonimo di Renato Manfredini Júnior, è stato un cantautore, musicista e compositore brasiliano considerato uno dei pilastri del rock brasiliano. Fondatore e leader della band Aborto Elétrico negli anni '80, ha raggiunto la fama nazionale con Legião Urbana, gruppo musicale che ha segnato profondamente la cultura brasiliana. La sua musica, caratterizzata da testi poetici e profondi, spesso incentrati su temi sociali e politici, ha conquistato generazioni di ascoltatori.
