Bruno Mars ist ein amerikanischer Sänger, Songwriter und Tänzer, geboren als Peter Gene Hernandez in Honolulu, Hawaii, am 8. Oktober 1985. Er wuchs in einer Künstlerfamilie auf und begann schon als Kind zu performen, indem er mit seiner Familie in lokalen Clubs sang. Nachdem er als Songwriter für andere Künstler wie B.o.B und Travis McCoy erfolgreich war, debütierte er 2010 mit dem Album "Doo-Wops and Hooligans", das die Hits "Just the Way You Are" und "Grenade" enthielt.
