Tad è stata una band grunge americana proveniente da Seattle, Washington, guidata da Tad Doyle. Tra le prime band emerse dalla scena musicale di Seattle durante l'epoca grunge, Tad si distingueva per l'influenza evidente del metal degli anni '70, a differenza del punk che influenzava la maggior parte delle altre band grunge. Nonostante un successo commerciale limitato, la loro musica è ancora molto apprezzata tra i fan del genere. Tad ha pubblicato tre album in studio: *God's Balls* (1990), *In the Blood* (1993) e *The Last Man on Earth* (1996). Tra le canzoni più rappresentative si ricordano "Jackhammer", "Sooner or Later" e "The Last Man on Earth".
