Zager and Evans è stato un duo musicale statunitense di genere pop rock, attivo tra la fine degli anni '60 e l'inizio degli anni '70. Composto da Denny Zager (cantante, tastiere) e Rick Evans (chitarra, basso), il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale nel 1969 con il singolo "In the Year 2525", un brano visionario che anticipava le preoccupazioni ambientali del futuro. Il successo del singolo ha spinto l'album omonimo a raggiungere la top ten delle classifiche americane, consolidando la posizione di Zager and Evans come una delle band più popolari dell'epoca. Nonostante il successo iniziale, il duo non è riuscito a replicare il successo di "In the Year 2525" e si è sciolto nel 1973.
