The Animals waren eine britische Rockband, die 1962 in Newcastle upon Tyne gegründet wurde. Ihr Sound, geprägt von Blues- und Rhythm-and-Blues-Einflüssen, brachte ihnen internationaler Erfolg in den 1960er Jahren.
