William James Adams Jr., besser bekannt als will.i.am, ist ein amerikanischer Rapper, Sänger, Musikproduzent und Unternehmer, geboren 1975 in Los Angeles. In einem schwierigen Viertel aufgewachsen, entdeckte er schon früh seine Leidenschaft für die Musik. 1992 trat er mit dem Song "Merry Muthafuckin' Xmas" auf Eazy-E's EP "5150: Home 4 tha Sick" in die Rap-Szene ein. 1996 gründete er die Black Eyed Peas, eine Musikgruppe, die weltweite Erfolge mit Hits wie "Where Is the Love?", "Let's Get It Started" und "I Gotta Feeling" feierte.
