Peter Heppner è un cantautore e musicista tedesco, nato a Gelsenkirchen nel 1960. Noto per la sua voce profonda e drammatica, Heppner ha raggiunto fama internazionale come frontman del gruppo di musica elettronica Wolfsheim, attivo dal 1988 al 2003. Con il gruppo ha pubblicato album di successo come "Born Rainy" (1995) e "Spectators" (1997), caratterizzati da sonorità darkwave e industrial con influenze post-punk. Dopo lo scioglimento dei Wolfsheim, Heppner ha intrapreso una carriera solista, pubblicando album come "Sehnsucht" (2004) e "Solo" (2010). Le sue canzoni spesso esplorano temi di amore, perdita, solitudine e la ricerca di identità. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Once in a Lifetime", "It's My Life", "Sleep".
