Die Deftones sind eine amerikanische Rockband, die 1988 in Sacramento, Kalifornien, gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Chino Moreno (Gesang), Stephen Carpenter (Gitarre), Abe Cunningham (Schlagzeug) und Chi Cheng (Bass, verstorben 2013). Sie erlangten internationale Bekanntheit durch ihren Sound, der eine Mischung aus Alternative Metal, Shoegaze und Post-Rock bietet.
